A brief look at the players that make up the 2003/2004 Winchester Knights Mens Basketball team.

Weasel was a late addition to the already talented roster Winchester had, but a welcome one at that! Training hard for three months with the girls team to get himself in shape to finally play with the big boys, weasel quickly showed he had great potential as a quick, athletic shooter on the team and that he can play well along side the other players! Off the court, he forms an unstoppable guard combo with Sio proving in true Knights style he is a player both on and off the court!

Ads (or as Scoobs tagged him, Bitch) started very reluctantly and we were unsure before Christmas if we would see him again at training! However, he made the right decision and came back and has improved is game to the extent he earnt selection to the Knights All-2nd Team in only his first season! Although he managed to escape the camera a lot of the time, on his initiation he spent the whole night with his pants on his head, well not the whole night, just til 8.30 when he had to be put to bed! Chin up!

Aaron is the silent member of the team! As he lives in Southampton and has to drive in for games and practice, along with his teaching commitments, the team sees very little of him. However in the games he did play in he was a domminant presence under the hoop and was even more dominant on defense, earning him the recognition of Defensive Player Of The Year 2003/2004. Also due to his distance from Winchester he has rarely made a true Knights boozing session. While the Knights were off boozing in Barcelona, Aaron was getting married! We are sure he waited til the team was out of the country! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Morrissey!

One drunken night in the Union, the team was approached by a young, long haired Hanson reject look-a-like named Robert! He claimed he had no basketball skills, but was keen to drink until he passed out! He was met with open arms and joined Huggy as a non-playing member of the team! Always in the mood for boozing, Hillbilly is a true asset to the Knights!

Nick first entered the Knights training camp in his freshman year, but only made a few sessions due to other commitments! In his second year he made a comeback and begun training hard. With a nice pull up jump shot and better understanding of the game he made the journey to the now famous Bradford Basketball Tournament where he was able to showcase his talents! No, not basketball, but his slick break dancing moves! Him and Don had a memorable battle on the first night which left jaws on the floor! Batch is about to enter his third year at Uni and his second with the Knights and whether he is breaking ankles or just breakin, you know he will be keeping it real!

Joe Ezee F'shezee in the Hizouse! Joe Joe is one of the most entertaining members of the Knights! Bringing comedy and entertainment to the team, he was a bit reluctant and shy with the boys until he joined them on tour in Lloret Del Mar, then they saw the REAL J.O. Ezee! The boy was boozing and behaving like a Knight! Since the turn around Joe has become a regular on the Knights social scene and is beginning to develop his basketball skills too! Wherever you find the Knights you will find a boozing, G'd up Gangsta by the name of J.O. Ezee!

Ivor is the teams' international experience! He is a Russian, Croatian, straight up confused, baller who joined the team late in the year, missing both tours and most training sessions! Joining a team at the end of the season is a brave thing to do, he came in not knowing what to expect and was welcomed by DeeQonE with a tomahawk dunk! Chin up! But it hasn't discouraged him at all, still a regular at training and improving fast, he is a real asset to the team! Not to mention he likes to booze as much as Huggy Bear, which is always a good sign of a true Knight!
